but ffff ive always wanted to try my hand at a pokemon battle rp group >:U!

Short Bio on Summer Adams

Summer started her adventure off a bit later than most kids. Her parents finally kicked her lazy bum out of their house at around 16. Up until that point, Summer's only interests were in dance and shopping. Too impatient to wait for the lab in Pallet town to respond, Summer's mom gave her a monferno a friend overseas sent as a gift.

Summer and the later named Ifrit didn't get along at first. infact, they were probably the worst trainer-pokemon duo the world had ever seen, but as they spent more time together, caught their other teammates, and evolved, the two became inseparable friends.

Her motto goes by "the best defense is a good offense", mostly training her pokemon to have the most powerful moves. hey, if you knock them down first, they wont have time to snap back with some witty strategy, right? Even so, her movesets are strategic, utilizing each of her pokemon's abilities to the fullest. Another strategy is to play the dumb card in front of her opponents before a battle. Such as, they would say -- "Oh, It's just that ditzy blonde chick from earlier. Hah! This won't even be a challe--*WHAM IFRIT IN YO' FACE NOW YOU DEAD.*"

She's pretty laid back and easy going, finding mostly everything humorous and not serious [and by god does she love shopping] But, when she's in battle, Summer's right on task and on the tips of her toes, focused to the extreme.

Summer also holds a love for ghost and dark type pokemon. while she has fire, water, and electricity balanced out [she doesnt much care for grass types], the other three pokemon are dark or ghost.

She now spends her days traveling and fighting to make her pokemon stronger and stronger. Of course she wants to be the very best, like no one ever was, but she'll settle for being known as "that chick that whooped your ass" too.

The Team:

name: Ifrit
Ability:Blaze -- Strengthens Fire moves to inflict 1.5× damage at 1/3 max HP or less.
item:Charcoal -- A combustible fuel that boosts the power of Fire-type moves.
About: Ifrit has been Summer's partner since she was 16 and he was a little monferno. He has a very serious demeanor in and out of battle and trains constantly. He often finds himself being the leader of their small team and keeping everyone in line, especially Prometheus.

name: Jettail
Ability: Swift Swim -- Doubles Speed during rain.
item: Lustrous orb -- boosts the power of Dragon- and Water-type moves.
about: Jettail is Summer's main contest pokemon. He's a typical pretty boy with an inflated ego and thinks he's better than the rest of the team. With contests over, summer focused him on battling and, to her surprise, was actually quite strong. She considers him her "double threat".

name: Perkunas
Ability: Intimidate -- Lowers opponents' Attack one stage upon entering battle.
item: magnet -- A magnet that boosts the power of Electric-type moves.
about: Perkunas is pretty much a smooth criminal. He's sly and cunning and dare i say...intimidating? You can never truly tell whats going on inside his mind. He takes on his battles with an air of grace as if fighting was an art.

name:Prometheus
Ability:Insomnia -- prevents sleep.
item:Dark Jewel -- It strengthens the power of a Dark-type move one time.
about: Prometheus is a playfully malicious trickster. He likes to mess around with his opponents before taking them out. He especially seems to love annoying ifrit who has a pretty short fuse. Prometheus is often outside of his pokeball and tagging alongside Summer.

name: Mr. Magius
Ability: Levitate -- evades ground moves.
item: Ghost Jewel -- It strengthens the power of a ghost-type move one time.
about: Mr. Magius is pretty much a carbon copy of Prometheus in battle. Outside though, he finds most things boring and just floats about idly. His 'last resort' move is perish song -- which will cause both him and his opponent to faint. if Summer ever uses this in battle, you know for sure she's frustrated and worn down -- probably close to defeat.

name: Charm
Ability: Super Luck -- Raises moves' critical hit rates one stage.
item: Focus Band -- The holder may endure a potential KO attack, leaving it with just 1 HP.
about: Charm was permanently injured and blinded in her right eye from a battle with a Feraligatr in a fight against a team rocket member -- causing Summer to have a high hate for the badly organized group. This lack of depth perception makes up for in hearing and smell, and Charm will often fight with her good eye closed and rely solely on those two senses. Though it was a challenge to bypass this handicap, Summer never gave up on her, creating an irreplaceable bond between the two.
